2. Skútustaðagígar Craters

The trail runs around Stakhólstjörn and takes about one hour to walk. There is also a shorter circular route into the western part of the area, which takes about 20-30 minutes. This is an easy walk through pseudocraters and in close proximity to diverse birdlife.
