17. Laxárgljúfur gorge

The hiking trail is light and fun and easy to cross with a view of the dam and Aðaldalur valley. The area is fenced off and it is not easy to cross the fence to get further along the gorge. If it is a longer walk, you can drive into Laxárdalur and park the car by the road and come from above to the gorge, that way it is easier to take a longer walk along the gorge.
