14. Hálshnjúkur

Hálshnjúkur (627 m) is the mountain above Vaglaskógur forest and has a magnificent view.

The trail starts at the parking by Vaglir 1, at the top of Vaglaskógur forest. The trail is 1,8 km long, the hight difference on the way is 400 m and the trail is steep. The walk takes about about 2 hours back and forth.
